Ryze, the Rogue Mage

Ryze, the Rogue Mage is a ranged caster who is currently the only champion in the game that has more than one ability scaling off Mana.

Mostly he is played in the mid or top lane. He excels at doing sustained damage, because of his low base-cooldowns and two forms of built-in cooldown-reducing effects on top of that. Ryze can usually afford to build pretty tanky items without lacking damage, because of his mana-scaling.

His abilities are comparatively short ranged and one of his major weaknesses is the fact, that he has only one crowd control spell, which is single target snare, thus making him relatively vulnerable to ganks.
